Aleksandra Vali started her career as a ceramic artist and often puts her extensive knowledge about clay to good use when she mixes it with the metalsmith techniques that now drive her work (see Hot Chilly Pear). Vali also does an impressive job creating unusual combinations with lava, coral, shells, diamonds, pearls and oxidized silver.
