After months of going barefoot (or at the most wearing flip-flops and sandals), slipping back into shoes in September is always an unwelcome reminder for me that Summer is really over. Although I will find any excuse to NOT wear (or buy) shoes, I am fascinated by shoe art. I’m adding Liisa Hashimoto’s Shoe Story Necklace to my list of favorites. I couldn’t find much about the artist except that she is from Japan, but her work is all over the Internet.
