You don’t need a Hallmark Holiday to appreciate the fine craftsmanship and imagination of this artist. Garden Gate, the brooch pictured above, is a beautiful reminder to keep your heart open – the only way to truly experience love.
Heart Brooches, steel, gold, platinum, silver, diamonds, rubies, pearl, bone, slate, metallic thread, nickel, plastic, magnets, flocking, niello…and more
What attracts me to my work is the dichotomy that exists between materials and processes. The wildness of forging juxtaposed with elegant goldsmithing techniques. I am interested in the underlying tension that results from combining disparate materials such as steel and diamonds or gold and steel, in organic forms.
When you are on Fynn’s site, make sure you click through all of her galleries. My favorites? Bracelets and Brooches.
